On Behalf of us all in St. Pappins Parish we’d like to congratulate Fr Desmond Millar SPS who celebrated his Golden Jubilee of ordination to the priesthood in July. Kiltegan Father, Des Millar was ordained in 1969. Fr Des has devoted the last fifty years to mission, spending his time in Turkana Desert, Lodwar Diocese in Kenya. Fr Des ministers from St. Benedicts Kalobeyei, and is involved in pastoral work, education, aid work and health. Fr. Des is a great friend to us all in St. Pappin's Parish, we'd like to thank him for all his help here in the parish during his visit home to Dublin. I ask you to keep Fr. Des in your prayers and wish him a safe journey back to Turkana.
